A dinner for our mates in the outback

Hands Across the Land Fundraising Dinner

From Paddocks to Plates to People in Need: One Night, One Purpose

Scenic Rim farmers are rallying for their mates in the Outback, announcing a night where the paddock meets the plate with purpose, proving that in the toughest of times, Queensland farmers never stand alone.

Now Sold Out

“We can’t bring back their livestock, nor the generations of work they have lost, but we can show that our farming community stands together with them as they begin the huge task of rebuilding their lives on the farm.”

One Night, One Purpose

Scenic Rim farmers are rallying for their mates in the Outback, announcing a night where the paddock meets the plate with purpose, proving that in the toughest of times, Queensland farmers never stand alone.

The land gives, and the land takes—but Queensland farmers have always stood shoulder to shoulder, no matter the challenge. As Outback Queensland reels from devastating floods, losing generations of hard work, stock, and livelihoods, the farmers of the Scenic Rim are stepping up in the way they know best: through food, community, and unwavering support.

In a powerful show of solidarity, Scenic Rim producers are hosting HANDS ACROSS THE LAND, a fundraising dinner, where the region’s finest produce will be served by the very farmers who grew it. Every bite, every shared story, and every dollar raised will go towards Farm Angels, helping Outback families rebuild, recover, and return to the land they love. All the product is donated, as it should be.

Some of the producers taking part include, Valley Pride Produce, Australian Sweetwater Crays, Kalfresh, Tommerup’s Farm, Vanbery Jam Co, Scenic Rim Finger limes, Ladybrook Farm, Towri Sheep Cheeses, Peak Veggie Patch, Summerland Camels and more. Lick ice cream have also jumped on-board.

Event Details

HANDS ACROSS THE LAND will be held on Saturday April 26 O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards with all produce donated by local farmers and all dishes SERVED by the farmers themselves. Plus acclaimed chef Glen Barratt (formerly Wild Canary) is heading the kitchen with Shinade Harper from Canungra Valley Vineyards, both donating their time.

The event will feature heart-warming story interviews, trivia, auctions and more.

This isn’t just a dinner—it’s a lifeline. Because farmers stand by farmers.
